The groundbreaking events of 2020 have brought even more energy to the Walter Herz team. Last year turned out to be very successful for the company. It was not only a period of extremely intense work, but also the expansion of the structure and the company's team. This allowed the company to adapt to the global changes that can be observed on the commercial real estate market. Walter Herz dynamic that helped them enter 2021 is reflected in the design of the new company logo.

- This year, it will be 9 years since we have started advising clients operating on the real estate market in the commercial segment throughout Poland. During all these years we have been constantly working on the development of the company. Today, we have a well-coordinated team and three branches. The number of employees in the company increases regularly, and this was also the case in 2020. We create new project teams. We want to be close to our clients in order to be able to provide them with the most in-depth analysis possible, tailored to their individual needs. We are not afraid of non-standard projects and difficult tasks. We focus on ensuring that each client receives valuable advice from us, which is adequate to the strictly defined requirements which, as we know, in the current business and economic conditions change faster than usual - says Bartłomiej Zagrodnik, Managing Partner/CEO of Walter Herz.

The expansion of the team allowed Walter Herz to increase its qualifications in all areas of the real estate market and expand operational capabilities. Recognizing new directions of market development, the company created a department dedicated to the warehouse sector, which by the end of 2020 managed to successfully complete transactions covering over 90 thousand sq m. of space. In addition, the continuous development of the Investment & Hospitality department allowed Walter Herz to significantly increase the range of services at all stages of the investment process and expand client portfolio, which last year brought the opportunity of supporting sale of projects worth nearly PLN 100 million. In 2020, the team responsible for the office market supported clients in the renegotiation of covid agreements concerning nearly 130 000 sq m. of space.

The turn of 2020 and 2021, was for the company not only a time of recap, but also a time of promotions. 7 people have been assigned to senior positions, including two experienced seniors, Emilia Kalińska and Martyna Markiewicz, who have been appointed the position of coordinator on the developing regional markets, in Cracow and the Tri-City, respectively, where they will lead consulting activities for clients and will continue to strengthen the company's position on these markets. Several new people joined the company. Walter Herz welcomed aboard, among others, Piotr Szymoński, who took the position of Director Office Agency. The company is still actively looking for new employees specializing in consulting for the warehouse and office sectors and development of new investments.

- Changes in Walter Herz business model are related primarily to the evolution of the real estate market. Nevertheless, they were also dictated by the need to strengthen the company's operational capabilities. We increase our advisory qualifications by building dedicated project teams within individual departments. In this way, we want to strengthen partner relations with clients and provide them with the most comprehensive knowledge possible. When it comes to our team, common values and well-established good relations have been the foundation of our brand for years - says Magdalena Zagrodnik, HR & Marketing Business Partner at Walter Herz.

This is not the end of changes at Walter Herz, advanced rearrangement is underway in the company's office. - Before we proceeded with changes, we conducted a thorough analysis in order to define our current needs for work space to improve its comfort as much as possible. In the current conditions, we need much more space for remote meetings with clients and a larger open space to run business. Of course, the new office design also takes into account all aspects related to the current safety requirements in the context of future epidemiological threats - says Karolina Deja, Office & Marketing Manager at Walter Herz.
