Magdalena Zagrodnik with ‘Business Personality 2024’ award. Walter Herz gets involved in charity work
Walter Herz company participated in a charitable initiative organized for Rak’n’Roll. Wygraj Życie! foundation. The project included the release of a book titled - 50 Business Personalities – showcasing the stories of successful people, their motivations, and passions. The organizer of the event, the editorial team of Businesswoman & Life Magazine, donated the entire proceeds from the sale of the publication and the auction to the foundation. The Charity Gala took place on June 14th, 2024, at Airport Okęcie Hotel in Warsaw.
Magdalena Zagrodnik, Co-Owner, Head of HR, Marketing & Public Relations at Walter Herz, who was honored with the prestigious title of Business Personality 2024 for her business activities and social involvement, said - Walter Herz has been supporting various charitable initiatives for years. We are happy to participate in projects through which we can tangibly help people in need. - We are proud to have been part of this event, which raised funds for the beneficiaries of Rak’n’Roll. Wygraj Życie! foundation, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. We believe that good begets good, and it expands the circle of goodwill - says Magdalena Zagrodnik.
The event was attended by public figures who use their popularity to promote a healthy lifestyle, cancer research and prevention, as well as a large group of people from the worlds of culture, art, and business, including representatives from the medical, legal, financial, and educational sectors.
The book ‘50 Business Personalities,’ published by Międzynarodowy Inkubator Kobiet Biznesu foundation, is intended to be a source of inspiration for those taking their first steps in business, a read presenting the worldview of successful people, and, above all, a contribution supporting the activities of Rak'n'Roll. Rak'n'Roll. Wygraj Życie! foundation helps oncology patients receive treatment and live happily despite their condition. Its goal is to change the way people think about the disease and work towards improving the quality of life for cancer patients, as well as promoting modern prevention methods. The foundation was established in 2009 by Magda Prokopowicz, who wanted to help others in similar situations after her own experiences with the disease.
