18 February 2021

Construction works on the main part of Varso Tower have been completed. The tower, located near the Warsaw Central Station, has officially become the tallest building in Poland in terms of the height measured to the roof. The spire is being installed at the top of the building, which will soon provide it with its target architectural height of 310 meters. Thanks to this, it will also be the tallest building in the European Union. The height of 230 meters that Varso Tower has reached has given it the lead in the capital. The tower is higher than the Palace of Culture and Science, which is 188 meters to the roof, and the apartment building Złota 44, which is 192 meters high, and the current national leader, the Sky Tower in Wrocław, which is 206 meters high. The Warsaw skyscraper was designed by the Foster + Partners studio, whose architects are the authors of, among others HSBC Tower in Hong Kong, Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt, 30 St Mary Ax in London, or 2 World Trade Center in New York. Varso Tower is to be completed in the first quarter of 2022.
