At the end of November, Cavatina Holding started construction works on the premises of the post-industrial complex of Widzewska Manufaktura. The revitalization of 140-year-old historic buildings at Piłsudskiego 135 Street in Łódź has started. The property entered the company's portfolio in August this year. The investor will build a multi-functional complex on 4 ha, which in three years' time will deliver approximately 55,000 sq m sq m surface. The facility will offer offices, flats for rent, commercial and service premises as well as open spaces for relaxation and recreation, including a gastronomic and cultural zone. The reconstruction will be carried out in accordance with the conservation guidelines. The investor will keep the elements of the former factory buildings and revitalize the 100-year-old park with a fountain. Łódź is famous for its spectacular revitalization of large post-industrial complexes, such as Manufaktura and hotel Andels' and Monopolis and Fuzja. The city is currently the fifth regional market in Poland, with over 550,000 sq m. sq m modern office space.
