ASSA Abloy Opening Solutions Poland Stays at Eximius Park
ASSA Abloy Opening Solutions Poland, a global leader in access control solutions, has extended its lease agreement at the Eximius Park complex in Cracow. The company has also decided to increase its leased area to approximately 3,800 square meters. Walter Herz provided advisory support during the contract renegotiation process.
ASSA ABLOY Group was founded in 1994 following the merger of the Swedish company ASSA and the Finnish company ABLOY, becoming an international capital group employing about 51,000 people and operating in over 70 countries through acquisitions of local companies. The company offers solutions in access control, automation, door security, and identification technology. It operates in the production and distribution of smart lock systems, providing reliable home protection and cutting-edge biometric technology solutions for businesses, government offices, institutions, and social facilities.
ASSA ABLOY has been operating in Poland since 1999, although the brands and manufacturers within the group have been well-known in the country for many years. The company supplies security systems to institutions as well as Polish and international companies. It collaborates with many renowned door joinery manufacturers and top Polish architects and architectural firms.

-For ASSA ABLOY, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of available office offers in the Cracow market, negotiated the terms of the new lease, including business rates, and provided advice on fit-out. After a thorough market review, we developed a comparative cost analysis related to the potential relocation of the company to an alternative location. We negotiated the lease terms in the new contract, which included increase in space. However, competing locations were not as satisfactory as the terms ultimately offered by Eximius Park, so the company decided to extend the lease – says Kamil Kowalewski, Associate Director at Walter Herz.
