Data will be processed for the period during which a complaint or lawsuit may be filed, as well as for the period during which the Administrator is obliged to process data under statutory law. Data processed for the purposes of direct marketing of our products and services are processed until the Client objects to their processing for this purpose.

1. Purposes of the adopted privacy policy and the use of cookies on the website.

1.1. This Privacy and Cookie Policy regulates the rules for processing personal data and collecting and using information about users on the website in the domain www.walterherz.com (hereinafter: "the Website"). It was created and adopted by Walter Herz sp. z o.o. The controller (administrator) of personal data is Walter Herz Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at: ul. Chłodna 51, 00-867 Warsaw.

1.2. The Administrator processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • execution of orders and commissions carried out by the entity,
  • fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the entity,
  • communication related to handling inquiries, orders, and commissions offered by the entity (telephone contact, e-mail, contact form on our website, etc.),
  • handling complaints or other potential claims,
  • analytical or statistical purposes,
  • directing marketing content to you (delivery of marketing communication based on cookies, analytical data, and direct marketing).

1.3. By selecting the option "I want to receive the e-mail Newsletter" (You consent to receiving commercial information by means of electronic communication sent by www.walterherz.com and to the use of e-mail communication for marketing purposes), the User's personal data will also be processed by the Website for the purpose of providing information about the offer and delivering free newsletters. Providing personal data is voluntary.

1.4. Please be advised that the Website may contain links that, if clicked, allow you to reach other websites managed by other administrators. The Administrator of this Website has no influence on the privacy policy or cookie policy conducted by these administrators and bears no responsibility for them. To benefit from a consultation, the User may—one-time and without the need for prior registration or logging in—complete the contact form by providing their name, surname, e-mail address, company name, and telephone number. Data will be processed for the time necessary, but in any case no longer than until the User objects.
  • 2.2.2. The Website allows contact with the relevant departments via a contact form or telephone. By contacting us in one of the aforementioned ways, you provide an e-mail address and/or telephone number. This data is used solely for contact purposes, i.e., preparing a response to the question asked by the User.
  • 2.2.3. The Website allows you to sign up for the newsletter by clicking the "sign up for newsletter" option. By signing up, the User provides data such as an e-mail address. This data is used only for the purpose of sending the User our bulletin or newsletter.

2.3. The User has the right to inspect the data processed by the Administrator, request their change, as well as their deletion at any time. For this purpose, an application should be sent to the address: office@walterherz.com.

2.4. The User may unsubscribe from the newsletter or subscription at any time. This can be done independently via the "Unsubscribe from newsletter" option available in every message sent by the Website as part of the Newsletter.

The User's personal data is stored in a database for which technical and organizational measures have been applied to ensure the protection of processed data in accordance with the requirements set by legal provisions on the protection of personal data, in particular the GDPR, the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means, and the Telecommunications Law. The Website uses technologies and procedures for personal data protection that ensure proper privacy protection for Users. Access to the database is restricted only to persons holding authorizations granted by the data controller.

Changes to the privacy policy will be made only to increase the standards of privacy protection or to adapt the policy to legal requirements. Each time, the User will be informed of the change in information sent to the e-mail address if the User has consented to being contacted in this way.

6. Rights resulting from GDPR

In accordance with GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation of 27.04.2016, the User has the right to:

  • delete their data
  • restrict the processing of their data
  • remain anonymous
  • access their data and receive a copy thereof
  • data portability
  • object to data processing
  • correct their data
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO)
  • be notified of a data breach

Data will not be transferred to a third country or any international organization. Pursuant to Art. 4 point 4 of the GDPR, data may be subject to profiling.

7. Contacting the administrator and reporting irregularities

Please report any irregularities, comments, or requests regarding the privacy policy to: compliance@walterherz.com. We ensure that every report will be considered by us, and we will provide a response to the e-mail address provided in the report. In the event of irregularities related to the processing of personal data, the Client has the right to report violations to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
