An Office Tailored to Organisational Growth
Matexi is a residential developer delivering projects that respond to the needs of residents and growing cities. The company’s dynamic growth meant that its existing office space no longer reflected the current scale of its operations or the needs of its team.
Our role was to support Matexi in the expansion and modernisation of its office: from selecting additional space and providing design and organisational advisory, to negotiating lease terms and coordinating the works required to create a cohesive, functional workplace.

How to expand an office without compromising quality or business continuity
Matexi needed additional space that could be seamlessly integrated with its existing office. It was essential to maintain a consistent look, functionality and standard, so that the new area would not feel like a separate add-on, but rather a natural extension of the existing workplace.
At the same time, the current space required refurbishment and modernisation. In everyday use, challenges related to acoustics, lighting and the wear of fit-out materials had become increasingly visible. The office needed to better support the company’s current work model, growing team and evolving organisational needs.
Another important aspect of the process was to provide the client with comprehensive advisory support covering design, negotiations, formal matters and project organisation.

Walter Herz supported Matexi throughout the entire office expansion and modernisation process. We helped the client select trusted architecture and design partners and recommended an experienced project manager responsible for coordinating the works. The design of the additional space was developed to ensure that the new part of the office would be fully aligned with the existing workplace, both aesthetically and functionally. At the same time, we proposed solutions to improve comfort in the current office, including better acoustics, more efficient and ergonomic lighting, replacement of carpets, as well as refreshed walls and selected fit-out elements.
We also advised Matexi during negotiations of the financial terms and legal provisions related to the expansion of the leased space. As a result, the process was conducted in an organised way, with control over the schedule, budget and scope of works.
