Ongoing relocation and chain expansion, maintaining technical and contractual requirements
The project concerned a comprehensive process of relocation of operating medical facilities, carried out as part of the further development of the organisation. The scope of activities included the identification and acquisition of suitable properties both in large agglomerations and in smaller cities with different market specifics and different vacancy rates.
CHALLENGES
Maintaining business continuity during relocation
The relocations had to be carried out in a way that did not cause interruptions in operational activities and, at the same time, fell within the specified budgetary framework. The project had to take into account high technical requirements.
The installation of special equipment, such as a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus, significantly limited the pool of possible locations and required the fulfilment of restrictive technical guidelines already at the stage of property selection.

The Walter Herz team carried out intensive market analysis of potential locations in a very short time - often taking just one week - using an extensive database and arranging visits in selected locations. We had to carry out a detailed technical verification to identify locations that met the stringent requirements related to the operation of medical facilities. The entire process of leasing new outlets was coordinated with comprehensive financial and legal negotiations with the Affidea’s representation.

The efficient relocation of six facilities allowed for complete operational continuity, ensuring uninterrupted service provision, maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction and a stable revenue stream. Implementing new investments within budget and schedule while controlling infrastructure costs translated into a significant improvement in financial efficiency and an increased return on investment.
The modern facilities equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment improved the quality of services provided, increased patient loyalty and contributed to an increase in the number of tests performed, which directly contributed to higher revenues. At the same time, maintaining key contracts and securing new agreements with the National Health Fund (NFZ) ensured the company stable and growing revenues, creating a solid foundation for further growth.
