Project description

Chain of 26 locations with one brand standard

Vorwerk is an international brand from the premium household appliances segment, known for Thermomix®, which develops a retail chain and customer services in Poland based on regional offices and showrooms. These locations must be easily accessible and maintain the brand standard regardless of the city and conditions on local markets. The project, providing full control over costs and deadlines, involved launching 26 outlets across Poland and maintaining one uniform standard in multiple cities.

CHALLENGES

Project scaling without losing control

Geographic dispersion meant working simultaneously in multiple local markets, with varying space availability, rental rate levels and landlord practices. Maintaining cost efficiency was crucial – not only in terms of the rent but also adaptation and restoring the interior standard. Brand consistency was equally important for Vorwerk: each location had to look and operate in the same way, regardless of city. In some locations, an additional challenge was renegotiating existing contracts to better meet current needs and market conditions.

OUR SOLUTIONS

One model of operation for 26 locations

We began by analysing local markets and recommending micro-locations that offered the best possible accessibility for clients and employees. We then negotiated and renegotiated lease terms for new and existing locations where improving conditions was more cost-effective than relocating. Simultaneously, we supported fit-out and interior standardisation, ensuring each space was consistent with brand guidelines and operational within a predictable schedule. We conducted the entire process based on a single chain strategy: we monitored costs, deadlines and risks across all locations and ensured quick decision-making when the market or business needs required changes.

BENEFITS

Scale, consistency and predictable costs across Poland

Vorwerk has launched 26 locations with a total area of approx. 20,000 sq. m, increasing its reach and availability nationwide. Thanks to the portfolio approach, the company gained greater control over operating costs, and renegotiations and consistent fit-out standards reduced the risk of differences in quality and functionality between locations. Each office was adapted to the brand’s standard, which translated into a uniform customer experience and a professional image throughout the chain. A standardised property management process streamlined coordination and allowed for faster response to market changes and organisational needs.
