Transporeon to stay in Porto Office for the upcoming years
27 November 2024International logistics company Transporeon, part of the Trimble Group, has extended its lease in the Porto Office A office building in Krakow, where it occupies over 1,900 square meters. Walter Herz advised the tenant during the lease renegotiation and office modernization process.
Transporeon decided to maintain its Polish headquarters in the Porto Office complex, located in Krakow's Dębniki district, owned by a group of Portuguese investors. The tenant also decided to adapt the space's layout, wanting to better adapt the space to the new workflow within international structures.
Over more than 20 years of operation, Transporeon has grown from a startup to an international logistics company operating 17 offices worldwide. The company employs over 1,000 people and works with 158,000 carriers. Transporeon's applications provide companies with comprehensive transport logistics management solutions and enable them to connect all parties in the supply chain. In 2023, the company joined the Trimble Group.
Trimble is a technology company whose products are used in over 141 countries worldwide. It offers innovative solutions that enable the safe, economical, and environmentally sustainable implementation of transportation services.
"We considered various locations, but the negotiated lease terms included in Porto's offer proved highly competitive. Therefore, we decided to extend the contract and modernize the office. Redesigning the space, in addition to improving its standard, allows us to adapt the space to our current needs, which have evolved as a result of the strategic changes taking place within the organization following our integration with the Trimble Group. Optimizing the office's functional layout is primarily related to the development of project teams and the expansion of international collaboration. The new design takes into account the company's increased need for space dedicated to group work and also fosters collaboration and team integration," says Sylwia Gajda, Office Manager at Transporeon.
"Our task was to provide comprehensive support to the company during the transition process, including analyzing the opportunities offered by the Krakow office market and recommending offers in conjunction with the business terms obtained through renegotiation of the existing lease. We also conducted a tender for the Project Manager to oversee the re-arrangement of the space, which was selected by INLEDRO. We advised on the modernization of the office, which was redesigned primarily for group work and project implementation by dedicated teams. The new layout takes into account the diverse needs of employees, including the creation of functional collaboration zones, meeting spaces, and additional offices," says Kamil Kowalewski, Associate Director at Walter Herz.
"We are pleased and pleased with Transporeon's decision to extend their lease. This is another tenant choosing to stay in our complex for years to come. We are pleased that our leasing strategy, which includes flexibility and proactive response to company needs, translates into good relationships and a long-term partnership. We look to the future with optimism, knowing that our efforts are appreciated by current tenants and attracting new investors to Porto Office. The complex offers many benefits to its users, including state-of-the-art technological solutions, a green building environment, and numerous amenities for tenants, providing companies that value a sustainable working environment with comfortable conditions for further development," says Barbara Zbyszewska, representative of Porto Office.
